Duke and head coach Manny Diaz agreed to a contract extension through the 2032 season, the school announced Thursday.

"Manny Diaz is exactly the right leader at exactly the right time for Duke University," director of athletics Nina King said in a statement. "His clear vision for Duke football, deep understanding of our student-athletes, and strong alignment with campus and athletics leadership have positioned us for sustained success in the years ahead."

Diaz guided Duke to an ACC title last season. The Blue Devils finished their 2025 campaign with a 9-5 mark after defeating Arizona State in the Sun Bowl.

The 52-year-old has led Duke to an 18-9 record over two seasons. The school hired Diaz in December 2023 following his two-year stint as Penn State's defensive coordinator. He also served as the head coach at Miami from 2019-21.
