Report: Vikings' Jefferson expected to return in Week 14
Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is expected to return to the field once Minnesota is back from its Week 13 bye, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
That schedules the star pass-catcher to play a Week 14 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jefferson returned to practice earlier this month after a hamstring injury suffered in Week 5 landed him on injured reserve. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year was activated from the reserve list on Tuesday.
Minnesota has stressed a cautious approach with Jefferson's return, with the wideout previously tweeting that his health was more important than fans' fantasy football implications.
Jefferson was off to a hot start before his injury, racking up 571 yards through five contests. His 114.2 yards per game was a career high for the three-time Pro Bowler.
Despite Jefferson's six-game absence, the Vikings are 5-2 without him and 6-6 on the season. The NFC North club is back in the thick of the conference's playoff picture with their midseason surge.
