Report: Seahawks' Metcalf week-to-week due to knee injury
DK Metcalf seemingly avoided a major knee injury after being carted to the locker room during Sunday's 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain and will be considered week-to-week, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Metcalf was taken to the locker room in the second half. Head coach Mike Macdonald said postgame the Seahawks were optimistic and the injury "doesn't look too bad," per ESPN's Brady Henderson.
Metcalf recorded 99 yards and a score on four receptions before exiting the win. The 6-foot-4 235-pounder leads Seattle with 568 receiving yards this season. He's also recorded three touchdowns on 35 receptions in seven games.
The two-time Pro Bowler has tallied 407 receptions for 5,900 yards and 46 touchdowns in 89 career contests.
The Seahawks play the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams in their next two games before going on a bye.
