San Francisco 49ers wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling will miss at least one month with a deltoid sprain in his ankle, sources told ESPN's Ian Rapoport.

Stribling is still seeking opinions on the injury and doesn't plan to undergo surgery, though it is a possibility, Rapoport reports.

The rookie was carted off in the second quarter of the 49ers' season-opening win over the Los Angeles Rams.

San Francisco selected Stribling 33rd overall in this year's draft. The 23-year-old caught 55 passes for 811 receiving yards during his final collegiate season at Ole Miss.

The 49ers' wide receivers room is already without Brandon Aiyuk, Christian Kirk, and Ricky Pearsall.

San Francisco faces the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.
