The Miami Heat signed guard Tim Hardaway Jr. to a one-year, $6.5-million contract, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Hardaway averaged 13.5 points and shot a career-high 40.7% from beyond the arc across 80 appearances last season. He knocked down 224 triples to finish in the NBA's top 10 for the third time in his career.
Hardaway, 34, came third in 2025-26 Sixth Man of the Year voting behind Keldon Johnson and Jaime Jaquez Jr.
The New York Knicks selected Hardaway with the No. 24 overall pick in 2013. He made the NBA's All-Rookie first team and was fifth in Rookie of the Year voting.
His other previous stops include the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, and Detroit Pistons.
