The New England Patriots announced Monday they traded edge rusher Josh Uche to the Kansas City Chiefs.
New England will receive a sixth-round pick in 2026, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Uche was a healthy scratch for New England's 25-22 win over the New York Jets on Sunday as trade rumors surrounded the 26-year-old.
In his seven appearances, the 2020 second-rounder tallied 13 total tackles - including two sacks and two tackles for loss - and three quarterback hits while playing 35% of the team's defensive snaps.
Uche has 20.5 sacks, 19 tackles for loss, and 34 quarterback hits in 58 career games.
The Michigan product signed a one-year, $3-million extension with the Patriots ahead of the campaign.
